I saw them once. They blew the place up. I got post traumatic stress disorder from that concert, and my ear drums bled for three days. Now when someone shoots a gun, I hit the ground because I think Kiss is around.
You're going to see something that you'll NEVER forget.
I was a Kiss fan from the time they released their first album. Last time I saw them was a few years back, when they toured with Aerosmith. The two bands took turns opening so no one could say that one was the opener and one was the mainliner. On the day I saw them in Atlanta, Kiss went first. Everyone outside was saying they were there to see Aerosmith, and that Kiss was okay, but no big deal. They were too cool to like Kiss. Kiss played and completely destroyed the audience, and guess what? When they left the stage after their last encore, 4/5 of the audience got up and left too! Outside, they were saying "After that, what's the point in staying? There's nothing left!"
A few days later, I found out that Aerosmith had announced that they would be opening every show on that tour from then on. It seems that the same thing was happening everywhere when Kiss opened, and Aerosmith was sick and tired of playing to an empty house lol.
Have faith. Maybe it will happen. Cheapest tickets run 22.50. Not too bad. Take care!
@rainy_z - Hi rainy... I saw that your blog was still leakin', so I clicked another plug. 22.50? What the...? Lawn seats in the next county or sumpin'? My tix were around $300, and that was a few years ago! I did have awesome seats though. There were a LOT of people on the lawn who really needed binocs to see anything.
I just watched that Love Gun video you posted, too bad they don't have any vids that really show the show. It's like strapping yourself on to a rocket. Rocket ride for real! BTW, take a camera - they were ultra cool about pics even though the tix said no photography. They were posin' for us!
Hey! Just popped in to see how ya liked the KISS show. Saw the vids and pics, glad you enjoyed it! There isn't another show like it anywhere in the world!
